Aldo should post calf size

Aldo should start posting max calf size on boot openings. This will help shoppers determine if the boot will fit as it is displayed. vs scrunch boot. By posting calf size boott opening and boot high will increase sells reduce number of returns and improve quality of customer services presenation. Please remember " CALF SIZE" IS VERY IMPORTANT TO WOMEN SHOPPERS! Some women wear size 5 1/2 to 6 but has large calfs 14 1/2 to 16. I wear 6 1/2 but the size 6 fit good. Let customer know your boots are design to fit 1/2 up but you only post whole sizes. Back to rating the boots: The boot opening is about 14 1/2 (at top). The calf size inside the boot (pass the 14 1/2 boot opening) is 15 1/2. If your calf size is 13 to 14 1/2 the boot will fit perfectly. If your calf sixe is 15 to 16 1/2 the boot opening is not large enough to go over your large calf. the boot will fix like a scrunch boot. Runs small but really cute

I'm a true size 7.5 however since Aldo shoes don't sell half sizes I ordered a size up which is an 8. Thy just came in yesterday and I was disappointed to find out that it's a wee bit tight and that it doesn't have extra space in it. It fits me but there's no wiggle space for your foot. I am debating whether or not to get the next size which is size 9 but am scared to take the chance because that would be a big jump from my normal size 7.5 to a size 9 shoe. They really do run small but they are so darn cute. I love it nevertheless. Maybe they will stretch out. My mother in law got those shoes a couple of weeks ago too she's normally a size 6 but she ordered a size 7. Fits her well.More detail ...

Classic simple pump

The ATLANTICCITY pump has been a staple at Aldo pretty much for a year now. They just keep coming out with more colors. Goes to show it's a great shoe. I only rated it 4 stars because it does run a little small. I would recommend ordering 1 size up (All Aldo shoes run "small" in US sizes though. They're sold in Euro sizes - although a 40 is a 10 and I wear a 10 I have to order a 41 [11] at Aldo because the Euro sizes are a 1/2 size smaller than ours). The patent is beautiful and glossy not cheap. These have a more "blunt" pointy toe due to the seam. Some people may not like the seam at the front (it does create a small "elf shoe" effect) but if you're expecting it or like pointy toes anyway this is for you. I have these Sandees in black. At first they gave me blisters on the back of my foot because the back really hugs your feet so the shoe wont slip off. After wearing a few more times it was ok; no more blisters. Guess just needed to break into them. The heel is great. I needed a casual everyday pump and these are perfect because not so high. Heel Heaven

I ordered these shoes and realized that they hadn't shipped it (it had been three days from processing.) I called in for an update and they arranged for it to arrive the next day (3 days ahead of when it should have originally arrived.) Beautiful shoes. The almond toe is a perfect balance between round and pointed and the heel though high is bearable. The overall structure of the shoe is sturdy and ideal for walking AND running. I stayed out last weekend for six hours straight on these shoes and didn't have a single blister or sore spot. Amazing! I bought these shoes for the "wow" factor and they definitely do not disappoint!!! I receive compliments on these shoes constantly and I recommend them because they are not only cute but very comfortable. Not quite a match

So I purchased these shoes and they arrived super fast. I was very excited because it has been very difficult finding a pair of royal blue flats that are comfortable. Unfortunately these aren't gonna do the trick either. The description says that they are leather (which I expected that or suede) and they are actually made of cloth. The bottoms are also some sort of felt fabric over the sole that makes them extremely slippery on any smooth surface such as linoleum or hardwood floors. I was disappointed in the fabric but I figured they were still cute enough to wear so I tried them on to make sure they fit. They didn't. I usually wear an 8.5 but to be on the safe side I ordered a size 9 so I wouldn't have any issues with them being too small. And yet they are. They fit so tight that I would guess their size to be an 8 or 7.5 not a 9 like I ordered. The inside is labeled in a european size it doesn't show a US size but they still run extremely small. So in recommendation if you get these shoes order a whole size larger don't wear them anywhere near water because they will soak up any moisture and be careful on those solid surface floors! A review about the shoe itself...

I have this shoe in both the black and taupe croc embossed outer. It's a nice enough shoe if you're okay with an extremely high heel but the hidden platform makes it wearable and walkable. If you can get these on sale as I did then they're probably worth it as they have a nice but also edgy profile look to them.



Quality is fine but nothing extraordinary. Aldo has generally reasonably well-made footwear hence they tend to be a little bit more pricey than the other types of average mall shoe store.



No complaints or issues with customer service and also online purchasing I've been satisfied with them and I've been buying from them on an off for several years now.



The only minor annoyance with Aldo is their sizing. They often if not always run small even if you base your fit on their stated Euro sizes. Just fair warning - it may be best to subtract "1" from their stated American sizes and go from there...More detail ...
